Wheels

Roller skating wheels are of great importance when it comes to how your roller skates roll and turn. The wheels are worn and must be replaced once in a while. Although it is probably the manufacturer of the roller skates that has determined what your roller skates should be capable of, and thus which wheels are on, you can still change this.

Large wheels (diameter above 85 mm.) roll well over unevenness and keep high speeds. Smaller wheels accelerate faster and gives you more control.

Soft wheels are quickly worn, but have a good grip on the surface and are usually more comfortable to ride over uneven surfaces. Hard wheels have a long life and less grip on the surface. When the surface is even, you will notice the lower grip.

You can read more about wheels for roller skates in our roller skates guide. If you have any further questions, you are welcome to contact our customer service.
