E-Scooter / Segboards
Most electric scooters rides with a top speed up to 25 km/h. However, like every other vehicle there’s a speed limit for how fast you can ride. This speed limit varies a lot from country to country, so always be sure to check that up before you take your electric scooter for a ride.
But what electric scooter is the right for you and your needs, and which goes best for what?
Overall, there’s two types of electric scooters. Both types are of quality and are made for urban commuting in their own sort of way. One is more robust, heavy and at times a bit more expensive too. An example of such an electric scooter is one made by Egret. The other is lighter and made for smaller city rides. Such an electric scooter could be one manufactured by Story.
Egret electric scooters are often best suited for longer distances and rides from A to B, in contrast to faster rides between other means of transportation like bus- and subway rides.
A Story electric scooter is more efficient in the sense that it is lighter and typically can be folded on the go, so that you can quickly ride from the bus to the train to the subway, while carrying the electric scooter along easily.
So, the choice comes down to your needs of how long your electric scooter must be able to ride on a charge as well as the weight and efficiency.
